The Centre court at the Wimbledon has for years been the battle ground for the top-seeded tennis players. It has showcased the greatest of matches on its lush green grass. It has been known as a court where class counts and only the best compete. The pulsating and electrifying audience add glory to the world's best court. However this year things have changed and the glamour quotient has stepped in. It's no more the battle of the top-seeds but instead the battle of the so called 'babes' that is witnessed in the centre court. I read an article by NDTV correspondent Sonali Chander on http://www.ndtv.com/wimbledon/story.aspx?ID=SPOEN20090099724&keyword=wimbledon where it is stated that Wimbledon authorities have admitted that they consider looks over ranking when deciding on who should play on the Centre Court. Núna er bara annar dagurinn í fríinu og það hefur nú ekki verið varla nein sól þótt það hafi ekki verið kalt en sólin kemur nú vonandi á endanum þannig ég kannski verði þá ekki alveg jafn hvít og ég er dagsdaglega Guðrún Katrín og Hekla eru hérna núna og brjálæðingarnir eru komnir út að hlaupa útum allan pall og ærslast eitthvað þar eftir að hafa verið á hlaupum útum allt hús og í gáfulegum feluleik, beygt sig bara einhversstaðar niður og falið sig þótt það sæist alveg 100% í þær Svo þarf maður að fara að spá með áframhaldandi fríið hvað maður gerir, endinn af fríinu fer náttúrlega í Þjóðhátíð en annað algerlega óplanað en fer örugglega eitthvað að pússlast svo saman. Jafnvel að ég fari í afmæli hérna á Selfossi á laugardag en á eftir að skoða það svona í gegn, sjá hverjir mæta svona og hvað ég þekki af liðinu.
